I know quite few people who bought cars i think mazda 3 from them but dont know how the purchase turned out.
I would assume you'll be fine,if the car is new.
It it is a used car(4 year old) and they dont offer a test drive, ask for the possibility of a car inspection report at an unbiased certified mechanic .
Carproof report costs $70 or so and is more accurate than carfax(better get it yourself)
If it's a good deal and you really want it you can simply have a family or a friend member with knoweldege and experience in cars go with you(heck,i can pay the car repair guy next door to go with me )
As a precaution go to the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) website, record their contact details and keep it just in case you get screwed. It's a kinda consumer protection body that governs ontario used cars dealerships and make sure they comply with the rules. So if you decide to buy the car and found out later you got deceived call the OMVIC
