the auto industry in canada has finally felt its US sister's recession ,am just wondering which companies in greater toronto area are affected ? and when the automotive industry in Canada will be back as strong ?

General Motors Corp(oshawa), Ford Motor Co. and DaimlerChrysler AG are the big three US automakers that have dominated the car market in canada,and these have been overcompeted by the japenese and german car manufacturers,In canada there more car dealers than plants besides car parts manufacturing
The recession started back since 2005 when GM in Ste-Thérèse,Quebec shut down,there is a Honda plant in Alliston, Ontario
and Chrysler Canada, which is based in Windsor.So far Canada is helping more than 20% of the US bailout,worth it or not,there are more than 400.000 people who will be affected in canada if its auto industry is to collapse,wait and see
